Obituary of Jeff Olson

On Friday, December 13^th, 2024, Jeff Olson of Belgrave passed away at his home at the age of 50.

Jeff will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of sixteen years, Mickey Howes, and their cherished dog, Jazzy, who brought him endless joy. He was a devoted brother to Joanne Olson & Brian Heard and Mark & Nicole Olson, and a supportive brother-in-law to Jay Payne and Cheryl Payne & Sean Garrett. Jeff was the fun-loving and proud uncle of Jordan, Lyla, Claira, Allie, Olivia, and Julia, a caring son-in-law to Lois Lassaline and Dale Howes and special nephew of Doris Coultes. He is now reunited with his late parents, Neil & Ruth (Coultes) Olson, his father-in-law, Keven Ward, and his faithful dog, Thor. Jeff’s warmth and kindness extended beyond his family, as he had a gift for making friends who became like family to him. His laughter, generosity, and big heart will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Jeff’s Life at the Belgrave Community Centre on Friday, January 3^rd, 2025 from 2:00-6:00 p.m.  This gathering with be a come-and-go gathering, allowing everyone the chance to honor Jeff’s memory and share stories.
