Condolences to the families. It has been many years since I have seen Aunt Grace. I have several memories of visiting with her when I was little with my Dad Austin. She was always so welcoming and kind to me. She was my favourite part of those visits.

When someone lives such a long life the result is leaving behind SO MANY memories. There is hardly an hour that passes when there isn't something I see or do or feel that reminds me of my Mom. The smell of pies or cookies baking, Sunday pot-roast, fresh folded laundry, lilacs picked from the front yard and all summer long there was vegetables from the garden and the best raspberry bush. I remember her vacuuming with a vacuum cleaner that cost more than her carpets. She would listen to the radio in the morning and the news on TV at night. CKNX. Euchre games with neighbors on Saturday night. From buying shiny black shoes at the Five & Dime for my 6th birthday to buying a graduation dress, a prom dress, wedding dress shopping, to baby clothes and on to dresses for her for grandchildren's weddings. I loved hearing her stories when I was little and as late as last fall. She had a long and interesting life and although there is never a good time to leave us, it was her time...and there are so many to greet her on the other side.
Love you Mom,
Cindy

Nancy and Cindy,
With deepest sympathy to you and the family on Graces passing.
I remember there was always something going in the oven to bake or something coming out of the oven that smelled so good, and a cup of tea.
Hugs from Patricia

Grace was a favorite of mine at Island Park. She could always be counted on to tell it like she saw it and pulled no punches. Grace will be forever missed.
