Eileen always had a smile on her face and was a joy to talk with. I worked in the Lab over 30 years and whenever I had to go up to the OR area and she was in the Recovery Room I used to think 'if I ever have to have surgery...I would like Eileen to be there
speaking to me when I woke up'. Such a pleasant, kind and reassuring voice.
My sincere condolences go out to all of Eileen's family, friends and co-workers.

To all of Eileen’s family
Eileen was my first cousin and also my godmother. I always admired her and because of her nursing career, I chose to also become an RN. I remember her as fun loving and always was so cheerful. Once when Dennis and I were flying to Jamaica, Eileen and a girlfriend were on the same plane. We had a great chat and a few laughs. She will be missed. Cherish the good times!

Dear Cathy and Anne and families
Thinking of you all at this sad time. Your mother and my mother worked together at the Wingham Hospital, and 'played' together on many trip vacations over the years. Eileen was one of the most amazing people, I was privileged to work with at our hospital for many years. Always smiled, always more than helpful, not to mention housing and feeding medical and nursing students. She certainly deserves a special heavenly place!! We were so sad to hear today of Eileen’s death. As you know , i worked with her for over 30 years and there was never a better recovery room nurse or friend. She was smart and quick and funny and warm and gentle. We had many laughs and tears together.

Anne, Cathy and Families. We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved, sweet and beautiful Mother
I have so many memories of spending time in her home, some fun things I remember are Eileen's fried potatoes and her delicious beef soup, her green cupboards with wall paper (Tom didn't care for) her ability to always make me feel welcome. Her beautiful Nurses cape and hat when she attended Dr. McKimms funeral. Her love of life, and vacations, but most of all the absolute love for her Children. Sending heart felt hugs to you all.
