Anne, John and family, peace be with you at this time. Your mom was such a caring, compassionate and authentic lady. She had a heart of gold. I have many great memories of being with your parents at the farm, at youth group and together with our families. She'll be missed, but in a much greater place, and at peace. Thinking of you.

John, Anne and all of Mary's Family,
We extend our deepest sympathies to you on the death of your mother and grandmother. When we came to Wingham in the early 1970s, Mary and Bob welcomed us warmly. We feel very privileged to have known this kind, caring couple. Mary was a generous host, always welcoming us into her home. Treasure your memories of her.

Anne and John, and family,
What a wonderful legacy of love and service your Mom has left!
As a young man I was a part of Wingham Presbyterian Church. Mary and Bob were leaders in both Sunday School and the Youth Group. I still think of them both whenever I hear Psalm 139: "You know when I sit and when I rise .." The Bible study they led was the first time I remember thinking about this wonderful Psalm.
Mary's hospitality was gracious and generous. No matter when Sharon and I visited the church or passed through Wingham, a lunch or snack time was in order, always accompanied by a good visit.
Mary and I stayed in touch after Bob's death. She was a well-informed window on the church we both loved and the happenings around Wingham. She was justifiably proud of her grandchildren. She kept me up to date as they worked their way through high school, University and early careers.
Her measured voice, her laugh, and gracious love to all will be missed.

Mary was a lovely woman. Quite often saw her while walking the dog and we would stop or I would wave. Will miss her friendly smile.

Two words would describe Mary Campbell for me-Gentle and encouraging! Because of her deep faith we are confident she lives on but she bequeathed those qualities to her daughter and they will continue to live through Anne. To John , Anne and your extended family- Please know that we stand with you as you journey through the grief which comes from only losing a mom once in life. Love from Jan and Chuck Congram.

John and Anne,
Please accept my condolences in the loss of your mother. She has a special place in my heart as she assisted my mother (Noreen Gnay), many times through her journey with lung disease. She and Mr. Wood helped her home after what turned out to be her last bridge game, and were with her when she died. I will be forever grateful to them that my mother did not die alone.
Sincerely, Julie Riding (Gnay)

Mary was a woman of grace and I learned so much about kindness and service when I was her neighbour, lessons that have served me well as the years have passed by. She will be deeply missed but I truly believe that her loving spirit will live on the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. To her family, I hope you all find great comfort in the stories that you will hear, the gestures that will be made in the hours, days and weeks ahead and that you will bask in the glow of her love for you.

Anne & John -I am so very sorry to hear about your mom's death. I've known her most of my life. My earliest memory of her was when she taught at the Wingham Public School. That was MANY years ago. I knew both your mom & dad through St. Andrew's. May she rest peacefully and may God bless you both and your families.
