Our condolences to the Orien family. Ruth was a lovely woman and a great neighbour. We have many fond memories of living and growing up on Shuter street.

I had the pleasure of knowing Ruth for over 50 years. She was an amazing person who always had smile for you and interested in what was going on in your life. She always had time for you and made you feel important. Ruth was an active church and community member. My mother spent many hours in the kitchen at the Wingham United Church with Ruth preparing meals and doing dishes. I think this was a big outing for them back in those days as it never seemed like work to the UCW ladies, more visiting and catching up with each other. We were so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing and I know she will be missed by her family and many friends.. Keep your memories of your mother close to your heart and she will always be with each and every one of you.
