Obituary of Marjorie Ann Payne

Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, Marjorie Payne of Gorrie, age 75 years. The former Marjorie Scott, beloved wife of Harvey Payne of Gorrie. Loving mother of Cecil and Darlene Payne of Gorrie, Stephen and Lynda Payne of Wroxeter, John and Dale Payne of Wroxeter, Julie and Larry Cardiff of Southampton, Bonnie and Les Brewer of Field, Vicki and Kevin Carter of Bluevale and Jeff and Kelly Payne of Fordwich. Mother-in-law of Rhonda Elliott of Palmerston Lovingly remembered by twenty-one grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters. Marjorie loved her pets Trix and Boots. Predeceased by her parents George and Gertrude (Deyell) Scott, her son George, one brother and parents-in-law Cecil and Eve Payne. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Gorrie Town Hall on May 31st, 2014 from 1:00-4:00 pm. Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation for palliative care would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
