Obituary of Eileen Fischer

At her home on Sunday, January 8^th, 2023, Eileen (Weppler) Fischer of Wingham passed away at the age of 74.

Beloved wife of the late Art Fischer who predeceased her in 1998. Loving mom of Tracey & Doug Nicholson and Susanne & Bruce Campbell all of Bluevale. Devoted nana of Coral & Ben Gingrich, Anna & Sean Cook, Greg & Cathy Nicholson, John Nicholson & Tori Stacey, Derreck & Janessa Campbell, Kendra & Cody McKeachnie and Kerri Campbell. Cherished great-nana of Mackenzie, Parker, Elliott, Raelynn, Macie, Cassidy, Chase, Ace, Levi, Viola and Avery.

Sister and sister-in-law of Ruth Schlorff, Doris & Keith Lerch, Carol Weppler and Kathy Weppler. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by Art’s siblings and their large extended family.

Predeceased by her parents Norman & Adeline (Baetz) Weppler, sons Bradley and Robert in infancy, siblings Walter Weppler (Marlene), Roy Weppler, Allan Weppler (Julia), Madeline Flood (Carl), brother-in-law Harold Schlorff and parents-in-law Gregory & Anna (Huber) Fischer.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, January 13^th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham Legion, Sacred Heart Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
