My deepest condolences to the McKee family.
I remember Sheldon from the Turnberry Central Public School days. I actually remember being the first person he sat next to on the school bus when he started Kindergarten in 1990. At the time, his family lived in a green house, across from the Wingham Cemetery, on North Street. I wasn’t close to Sheldon but I remember him being a really friendly and outgoing person on the school grounds. I remember him being into dirt bikes and quads at an early age and I just always got a good feeling about him. I remember on occasion playing capture the flag on the large Turnberry School back property and it came to mind that he joined us on occasion.
I only just came to realize Sheldon’s passing as I saw his picture pop up on my social media. I wouldn’t have recognized him if it weren’t for the close up of his face.
My deepest sympathies go out to Sheldon’s parents, his sisters, his wife, and his children. I remember Sheldon being a very kind and affable soul and I hope a part of his spirit remains with you all.

Sad to hear the news. I spent a lot of time with Sheldon growing up on Wingham and going to Turnberry. Good memories hanging out at at his place. My heart breaks for his family. Even though I haven’t been back to Wingham in years and seen him in a long time I’ll always cherish the memories. I am so saddened to hear about the loss of a great man. I only knew him from the Tattoo shop and witnessing him interact with you, your children, and how wonderfully he treated his clients.

It breaks my heart to read this. Jenna‘s face always lit up with so much pride and love whenever she spoke of Sheldon. It was really wonderful to see the family together and how much they loved each other. Losing Sheldon is a tremendous blow, but I believe he will be watching over you all.
