So sorry to hear of the passing of Maxine. She was a great neighbor for all the years I lived there.
Always friendly and kind and even helped me to plan a cake smuggling operation for my dad's 60th Birthday by using the same sliding behind the houses technique that the old man himself used to do, when the street had parties.
He loved the cake, and was amazed how many neighbors helped in pulling it off and stopped by to say hello.
Maxine was a very lovely lady, who had a great smile, and would always say hi and stop to chat. She always took the time, and the neighborhood will be a bit less brighter without her in it.
I am sorry for your loss. I know that she will be missed by all those who knew her. I will always have fond memories of growing up on that street because of all of the wonderful neighbors who lived there and made it a wonderful neighborhood.

I had the pleasure of working with Maxine at Wingham Foodland. She was a beautiful person and always spoke fondly of her children and grandchildren. Her beautiful smile and sense of humour made even the most challenging days easier to handle. A beautiful soul who will be missed dearly.
