Obituary of Ellen Carter

At Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, March 02, 2022, Ellen Carter, formerly of Wingham, passed away peacefully at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Carter who predeceased her in 2008. Devoted mom of Gary & Pam Carter of London, Greg & Janet Carter of Dorchester and Wayne & Dina Carter of Guelph. Loving grandma of Karyn Bennett, Lori Griffith & Ray Lafreniere, Doug & Cristina Carter, Steven Carter and Lauren Carter. Cherished great-grandma of Bryson, Kaden, Brier, Chase, Rylyn, Kayla, Holden and Fiona. Dear sister of Ted Bailey. Predeceased by her parents Joseph & Ethel (Vanner) Bailey, sister Grace Grey and sister-in-law Betty Bailey.

A private family graveside will take place in the spring at Wingham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 180 would be appreciated.
