Obituary of Erika During

At Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, October 29^th, 2021 Erika During of Wingham passed away at the age of 96.

Devoted wife of the late Gerhard During who predeceased her in 2007. Loving mother of Siglinde & Gary Ryan of St. Catherine’s, Dr. Erika During & Ulrich Hanz of Mt. Brydges and Evelyn & George Hones of Oro Station. Treasured grandma of Carmen & Dan Ferguson and their children Madeline and Connor, Marlon & Melanie Heuchert and their children Aiden and Owen, Mathew & Valerie Ryan, Patrick & Amelia Ryan, Brian Hones & Amber and their children Olivia and Emily, Nicholas Hones & Shannel. Cherished mother-in-law of Kurt Heuchert. Predeceased by her daughter Anita Heuchert.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13^th, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend do not need to register or provide proof of vaccination, however you must wear a mask and practice physical distancing. A private funeral service will be held with Reverend Colin Snyder officiating. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.
