Obituary of Noreen Haines

At Braemar Nursing Home on Thursday, July 29th, 2021, Noreen Haines of Wingham passed away peacefully at the age of 97.

The former Noreen McAllister, loving wife of the late Carmen Haines who predeceased her in 2006. Cherished aunt of Karen & Dale Wardley, Gail & Paul Heffer and Carl & Marilyn Haines. Noreen will be lovingly remembered by Doris & Jim Taylor and their family as well as her extended family members. Predeceased by her parents David & Jane (née Caslick) McAllister, her brother Mervin McAllister and his wife Shirley, her nephew David Haines and dear friend Norman McKee.

Noreen’s family would like to thank the staff at Braemar who provided wonderful care during her time at both the retirement and nursing home. The staff treated her like family and made her final years at Braemar enjoyable.

A private service with interment will take place at Teeswater-Culross Cemetery on Wednesday, August 4^th, 2021 with Reverend Colin Snyder officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
