It is with great sadness hearing the passing of Brad. Many fond memories were share with Brad, from horse back riding at the Ponderosa, to playing shuffle board at Uncle Ken and Aunt Jeans house after an evening snowmobiling. Brad always brought out the best in people with his jolly laugh and sense of humour. Will miss you Brad.

Dear Pauline, Dustin, Brittany, Uncle Ken, Wayne, Greg and extended family:
I was in shock and devastated when I heard of the passing of Brad. Brad was the last person that you would ever dream of being taken away from us at such a young age.
Brad was a guy that was very caring, kind-hearted, very hospitable, had a great sense of humour and of course enjoyed a good laugh! His laughs ranged from chuckling to a hearty laugh.
Brad and I pretty much grew up with each other. Every summer we booked the same week off for holidays and of course it was the week of his birthday. Always lots of golfing, celebrating and non-stop joking and laughing. So many great memories!
Of course when growing up my brother Geoff and I spent so much time up at Uncle Ken and Aunt Jean's farm along with Wayne, Brad and Greg. Those wonderful memories will be forever embedded in our minds! It was a time when life was much simpler than now days and I believe much more fun!
In recent years when we got together, Brad and I were always reminiscing about those great memories that we both shared from many years ago. Once again we would enjoy a good laugh!
Brad was a devoted husband, father and grandfather (poppa)! He loved all of his immediate family! Brad is what the true definition of what a "family man" is all about!
My deepest sympathy to Pauline, Dustin, Brittany, Uncle Ken, Wayne, Greg and the entire extended family!
Love
Steve Campbell (cousin)

Dear Pauline, Dustin, Brittany, Ken, Wayne, Greg and extended family.
Kind, intelligent, caring, fun loving, and family focused, are only some of the truly important
characteristics that we associate with Bradley Horton. While life sometimes does not seem fair and
balanced all the time, particularly when shortened, we will all remember Brad as a person whose life did
positively impact everyone who was fortunate to know him. We will all mourn him, we will all miss him,
but we will never forget him. There is no better legacy.

Dear Pauline, Uncle Ken, Wayne and Greg:
Mary Ellen and I are deeply saddened by the loss of cousin Brad. It would be difficult to find a more gentle man than Brad Horton. As an integral part of the 'Horton Centred Clan' of cousins, Brad simply made us feel comfortable and relaxed in his company...at all stages of his life.
In our younger days, frequent gatherings at the farm of 'Uncle Ken and Aunt Jean' were a guarantee of 'fun for all' of the numerous cousins. Brad was a perfect contributor to the memorable camaraderie enjoyed by all on those occasions. The feeling of closeness to Brad, as with all the cousins, has never really diminished despite 'growing up' and going our separate familial ways.
Just as our parents encouraged those strong family ties, we are sure that Brad (with Pauline) nurtured those same feelings in his own family. Our sincere sympathy to Pauline, to Brad and Pauline's children and grandchildren, and to their entire extended family.
Gary and Mary Ellen Schatte

Brad Horton was a humble man, a quiet, gentle soul. He had an endearing chuckle and a brilliant smile that lit up his face. It made you feel good just to be around him.
Some of my fondest childhood memories were times spent with my cousins. The Horton side of the family has a lot of cousins and I can recall wonderful times shared with all of the cousins. When I recall occasions spent at the Horton farm with Uncle Ken, Aunt Jean, Wayne, Bradley (as we called him in childhood), and Greg, I am flooded with some of the best childhood memories. Folks were always welcome at the farm.
Many visits would result in the adults heading out for the evening and the cousins remaining at the farm. We always had a blast! My brother, Gary, and sister, Kim, and I would settle in for the night with Wayne, Bradley, and Greg. Lots of movies and tv shows were watched in the front room on the black and white tv. We played games, had all kinds of treats, and generally enjoyed good clean fun with our cousins. Kim and I could hardly wait to get up at the crack of dawn to head to the barn and help Uncle Ken, Brad and Wayne with the chores. I am not sure how helpful we were but we felt like we had the world by the tail.
I remember another occasion on which Bradley was playing hockey and Aunt Jean loaded all of the kids into her car and drove through a wicked snow storm to get Bradley to his game. We cheered him on from the stands.
As the years went on and all of the cousins grew up, it seemed like the gatherings with the cousins were less frequent. Life gets busy. The second last time I saw Brad was three years ago when my mom and I enjoyed a most pleasant day at Uncle Ken's. The Campbells were there too, as well as all of Uncle Ken's family. Brad was there with his lovely wife Pauline and his kids and grandkids. Just like when we were kids, Brad lit up the room with his smile, chuckle, and warm, welcoming manner. It was so evident that his family meant everything to him.
Brad will be dearly missed. His part in my childhood memories will hold a special place.
Jim and I extend our heartfelt condolences to Pauline, Uncle Ken, Wayne, Greg, and Brad's extended family.
Love, Sherri and Jim Weese
