Donna and Family
We are deeply saddened to hear of Ken's passing. He was a wonderful quiet compassionate man that we loved to talk to whenever we had the opportunity. I will always appreciate his mentoring me during my teenage years, his advice and assistance has not been forgotten. Looking forward to heaven where we will never run out of time to talk with friends and our Savior!
May God bless and keep you in the days to come.

Dad,
My heart is broken..
It says to share a memory ,and I have plenty of happy ones with you..like when you showed up at our house and rang the doorbell only to point to the 'Welcome' sign and come on in..I loved that!..or when you sat at the table and just ate,and ate..and napped and napped..most of all ..I'm going to miss you sitting on the couch with your coffee cup chit-chatting..and those great big bear hugs..Dad, even though you were a bit far, you were always kinda here..
I'll miss you Dad..and love you forever and ever..with every piece of this broken heart..
I'm proud to carry your name Dad,
Rest well,
Aphrodite Barfoot

My Dad.
How can mere words describe how I feel about the amazing man I am truly blessed to call "My Father".
He was a man of few words, but when he spoke you knew what he said was important.
He was the most genuine man I have ever met. He loved his family, and those who were lucky enough to be his friends.
He had a warm heart, and when he hugged you you couldn't help but feel the love in his embrace. He was always there to lend a wrench or a hammer. A skilled man that seemed to know how to do everything. His smile seem to light up a room, and made everyone else feel important. He chose his words wisely, never lied, and was respected by everyone he met. I never met a single person that didn't respect and admire him. To speak of his accomplishments would take you years to cover. As I walk through my home I will be constantly reminded of his amazing talent as a woodworker. His wonderful pieces of furniture, built from his heart, and talented hands fill every room in my home.
The time on this earth he spent with me will be cherished, and will be kept in it's own special place in my heart forever. I will miss him terribly, but I will find solace knowing one day I will be able to be by his side again in Heaven.
He was a devoted Husband, a great Father, a loving Grandfather, and great friend to many... But most of all he was my Dad!
I will love and miss you until I see you again in
Heaven. Your only son David.

Donna and family, Andy and I send our condolences to you and our prayers. May God comfort you in very tangible ways as you share your memories of Ken and reflect upon his life and your lives with him. We never got to know him well, except for the ‘good-morning,’ greeting in church and his smile and sparkling eyes were a JOY to see.
