Obituary of Doris Ellis

Peacefully at Gilbert Hall on Saturday, April 17, 2021, Doris Ellis of Wingham passed away at the age of 95.

Beloved wife of the late James Ellis who predeceased her in 1996. Devoted mother of Dale & Tim Tolton of Bluevale, Keith & Fran Ellis of Walkerton, Rick & Brenda Ellis of Clifford, Jim & Sherri Ellis of Fergus and Lynn & Jack Ohm of Wingham. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents William & Maude Tracy, one sister and three brothers.

Due to current restrictions, a private graveside service will take place at Wingham Cemetery, Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Gilbert Hall, Wingham or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
