Obituary of Emma Deyell

At Wingham & District Hospital on Sunday, March 28, 2021, Emma Deyell of Wingham passed away in her 100^th year.

Beloved wife of the late Norman Deyell who predeceased her in 2004. Devoted mother of Patricia Gaunt of Wingham, Dianne & Jim English of Wingham, Terry & Brenda Deyell of Wingham and Brian & Marj Deyell of Belmore. Loving grandma of Steve & Judith Gaunt, Stephanie & Jeff Bloemberg, Jim & Lauren English, Rhonda & Dwayne Hickey, Shawn & Bethany Deyell, David & Shelley Deyell, Helen Lockhart and Laura Deyell. Great-grandma of twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Albertine Butcher, Mary Ortlieb and Helen Ortlieb. Emma will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her son Ronald Deyell, grandson John Deyell, son-in-law Murray Gaunt, great-granddaughter Amanda Gaunt, parents Frank & Emily Ortlieb and eight siblings.

A private funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 1^st, 2021 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. Due to current restrictions we ask that you watch from home. Interment will take place in Wingham Cemetery.
