I'm so sorry to hear of Rhonda's passing. I worked with Rhonda for a number of years. She was a wonderful co-worker and we had a lot of fun and laughs together. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers for her family.

I was sorry to learn that Rhonda had passed away, she was one of my students. Rhonda was in my grade 10 welding class, she was the only girl in the class, so I asked her how it felt to be the only girl in the class, without missing a beat she replied "it's like being the only boy in home-ec"!. After that I tried to make sure I put more than one girl in a class when I made up the 9&10 tech classes. Rhonda was an excellent welder, she was better than any of the boys, when I asked her how she did it she said "I cheat, my dad has a welding shop and I practice at home". I thought she should have become a welder. But she was a good student and an asset to the class, we all benefited from her skills and good humour. She always had a smile on her face. She was one of those students you always remember.

Knew Rhonda from back in our high school years and was sorry to read this even though I haven't really seen her since then but it did bring me back to those years and she always had that smile on her face like in the picture
