Just reading this now. My condolences to the Held Family. Max was an important part of Clifford and set a fine example for generations to come on for service to the community and love of family. I have great memories of him.

Condolences to all Max's family and friends, Max was always a handful of people that always called me "Denny" whenever we met. Certainly miss going to the hardware store if not only for a visit. Another legend gone from the Clifford landscape.
I remember when your family moved to Clifford and took over the running of the Hardware store. Your Mom and Dad were anchors in our community. The loss of a parent is difficult and you are in my thoughts and prayers
