John was my cousin as both of our mothers were West’s and sisters. My wife and I decided to travel North from NY in 2016 to visit John/Arlene, Rhonda Terry and their families.My wife Diana and I are so glad we had the opportunity to see them after a 50+ year absence. John was a man of character and integrity who loved his family and community. He will greatly missed. God Bless you John.

I will always remember the night I was supposed to stay the night with Rhonda, and about midnight or later I got homesick, even tho I only lived 1 concession over, and had to go home . So poor John had to get out of bed and take me home. He was good natured about it and always teased me about that night.
