Obituary of Dave Schiestel

At his residence on Thursday, October 29, 2020, David Schiestel of Wingham passed away at the age of 69.

Beloved husband of the late Brenda Jardine who predeceased him in 2009.  Dear father of Jason & Nikki Schiestel and Scott Schiestel. Loving grandfather of Rebecca, Matthew, Jakob and Leia. Cherished brother Cathy & Kevin Bennington. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Sheri Horton, Jeff & Sherri Walden, Kyle Bennington and Courtney Bennington, his dear friend Bonita Waters and also by Brenda’s family. Predeceased by his parents William & Maude Schiestel, sister Linda Walden and her husband Ronald and parents-in-law Ken & Ruth Jardine.

A come and go to celebrate Dave’s life will be held on Saturday, November 21^st, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Wingham Legion. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, those wishing to attend must schedule a time through our website or by calling the funeral home at 519-357-1170.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Br.180 would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
