Obituary of Walter Elliott

At Huronview in Clinton on Saturday, October 10, 2020, Walter Elliott formerly of Wingham passed away at the age of 89.

Cherished father of Paul & Kathy Elliott of Brussels, Ruth & Paul Laidlaw of London, Barry & Crystal Elliott of Whitechurch, David & Susan Elliott of Port Franks and Karen Keppel-Jones of Waterloo. Dear grandpa of fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Rena Forster, Lorne & Inez Forster, Joan Perrott, Irma Henderson, Norm & Norma Stewart and Don & Susan Campbell. Walter will lovingly be remembered by the Burchill family as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his first wife Kathleen Elliott in 2000, his second wife Iyla Elliott in 2012, grandson Curtis Elliott, great-granddaughter Kaley Rahm, and his siblings and in-laws, Mitchell & Mildred Elliott, Bill & Isabel MacPherson, Marjorie Campbell, Ross Henderson, Jack Forster and Ronnie Perrott.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, October 14^th, 2020 from 11:00 a.m.- 12:45 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitors must schedule a time to attend through our website on Walter's page or by calling the funeral home at 519-357-1170. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
