Obituary of Murray Fisher

At Victoria Hospital, London on Thursday, July 23, 2020, Murray Fisher of Wingham passed away surrounded by his family at the age of 74.

Devoted husband of Gonna (née Weigand) Fisher. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Dale & Bryan Martin, Linda & Glen Ribey, Don & Cathy Fisher, Glen Fisher, Shirley Goll, Wendy & Alvin Goll, Debbie & Gerry Heels, Laurie & Cam Procter, Miriam Weigand and Jonathan & Sylvia Weigand. Murray will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents John & Martha (née Smith) Fisher, parents-in-law Johannes & Annaluise Weigand and sister Jacqueline Lee and her husband Herb.

A private virtual memorial will be held with Ron Menzies officiating. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Canada, St.Mary’s Regional Cardiac Care Centre or the Critical Care Trauma Centre at Victoria Hospital in London would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and can be made through McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham.
