Obituary of Marie Lamont

At Wingham & District Hospital on June 5^th, 2020 Marie (née Edgar) Lamont of Wingham passed away peacefully at the age of 83.

Beloved wife of the late Harold Lamont who predeceased her in 2010. Loving mom of Glen Lamont, Colin & Kathy Lamont, David Lamont, Donelda & Mike Eisenhofer, Donna Lamont & Paul Hicks, Jack Lamont and Robert & Sue Lamont. Cherished grandma of Amy, Melanie, Julie, Jamie, Hailey, Alisa, Melissa, Greg, Justin, Austin, Jessica, Tiffany and Tori. Special G.G. of fourteen. Dear sister of Marjorie Stroud & Bill Somerville, Betty Darling, Frank & Sharon Edgar, Henry Edgar, Mary Zister & Joe Spitzig, Margaret & Ted Beadle, Peter Edgar and Annie & Ken Neable. Marie will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by her daughter Debbie Lints and her husband Wayne, parents Jim & Margaret Edgar, brothers Harold, Charlie and Donnie Edgar and sister Grace Carter.

Due to provincial restrictions there will be no public visitation. A private family service will be held on Tuesday, June 9^th, 2020 with interment at Wingham Cemetery. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Adopt-A-Pet, Pet Rescue, Lucknow would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
