Cousin Bill was my Godfather and the best one my parents could have picked! He always made me feel special and always made an effort to come and see me. He and Linda were regular visitors at Christmas time and I looked forward to that visit as they brought me the best gifts:) I will miss my Godfather’s mischievousness and the twinkle in his eye.... so much like his dad, my uncle Oscar. Too many fond memories to share but I can tell you that Bill and Linda welcomed me, a city girl, into their family and taught me everything that I could learn about farming over the course of 5 summers. (as well as life skills) My girls loved to visit Bill and Linda -they loved the home cooking and the candy that Bill "forced" them to consume! They remember the ATV rides, the horseback riding across the street at neighbours and all of Bill's model truck collections! I remember always being the "DD" for Bill's Friday cattle auction days - much to Linda's frustration! The picture that the family picked up Bill brings out his mischievous smile! Linda, Sean, Tammy and Jason, along with your kids - I am so sorry you have lost a great man!! I know he is in a better place now. Hugs and prayers for your loss.
