Obituary of Fran Gerrie

At her residence, on Monday, November 12, 2018, Fran (Merkley) Gerrie of Wingham, at the age of 81.

Beloved wife of the late Murray Gerrie who predeceased her on December 12, 2017. Cherished mother of Pam & Dave Tiffin and Brad & Rachelle Gerrie all of Wingham. Fran will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Brittany Tiffin & Jesse, Greg Tiffin, Brigitte & Justin Wagner, Alex Gerrie and Connor Gerrie. Dear sister of Terry & Lynda Merkley of Wingham and John & Betty Merkley of Oakville. Sister-in-law of Barbara Merkley of Guelph, Donna Moores of Bowmanville and Penny Gerrie of Toronto.

Predeceased by her parents Harry & Jean (McLean) Merkley, brother Raymond Merkley, brothers-in-law Trevor Moores, Lionel Gerrie, Gerald & Connie Gerrie and sister-in-law Marion McCallum.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday, from 1:00-4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at McBurney Funeral Home.

Memorial donations to Huron County Christmas Bureau or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
