Obituary of Charles Ernest Cook

At Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, February 14, 2014, Mr. Charlie Cook of Belgrave, age 86 years. Cherished partner of Ruth King of Belgrave. Husband of the late Doreen Toye. Father of Donna and Terry Woollett of Bramalea, Ernie Cook and his partner Barbara of Wingham and Mark Cook of Timmins. Also remembered by Doreen's family Sheila Whalen of South Porcupine, Denis (Carol) Beck of Alberta, Laureen Duclos of Marathon, Gerald (Christine) Beck of Belgrave and Danny Beck (Linda) of Brussels. Survived by Ruth's family Michael (Jeanne) King and Kathleen Kelly both of Stratford and his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Special grandfather of Justin. Brother of Elsie Walsh of Blyth, Florence McArter of Belgrave, Nora Huskinson of North Bay, Muriel Bosman (Bunny) of Sault Ste Marie, Mildred Paton of Ingersoll and Evie Smith (Grant) of Regina. Predeceased by his parents George and Ivy Cook, granddaughter Sellina Cook, his sisters Lois Green, Annie Cook, his brothers Norman Cook, Wes Cook, six brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home on Monday at 11:00 am. The Venerable Perry Chuipka officiating. Spring interment in Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave, Ontario.
