Obituary of Josephus Gerardus Peters

Josephus Gerardus (Joe) Peters, passed away at Strathmere Lodge in Strathroy, Ontario, on April 16, 2015 in his ninetieth year. Born in the Netherlands, Joe was a proud dairy farmer on the B Line near Wingham, Ontario, for over 40 years. Beloved brother of Trees Voeten of Belgium and Frans Peters of the Netherlands. Dear uncle of Ken Peters of Strathroy, John Peters and Irene Parkes of Watford, Rieta Coleman of Alvinston, Deborah Downie of Petrolia, Linda Breault of Cambridge and Anne Kouwenberg of Salford, as well as forty-four other nieces and nephews living in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Norway. Predeceased by his brother Harry Peters of Watford, and twelve siblings in the Netherlands. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham, on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Father K.P. Morrison officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
