Obituary of Jean King

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Thursday, March 24, 2011, Mrs. Jean King of R.R. # 2, Wingham, age 80 years. The former Jean Shropshall, beloved wife of the late Harold King who predeceased her in 1991. Dear mother of Joanne and Allan Harrison of Wingham, Bradley and Glenis King of Clinton and Nancy and Patrick O'Malley of Camlachie. Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Beatrice (Baker) Shropshall, her daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Donald MacDonald, grandson Joseph Harrison, granddaughter Pamela King, her sisters Sharon Sangster and Laura Potticary and her brother Fred Shropshall.Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario, on Saturday from 6:30-9:00 pm. Legion Ladies Auxiliary Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 6:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 2:30 pm. Reverend Perry Chuipka officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to St. Paul's-Trinity Anglican Church or Branch 180 Royal Canadian Legion would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
