Obituary of David Bruce Wattam

At Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, Mr. David Wattam of Waterloo, age 54 years. Son of Norman and Monika Wattam of Clinton. Brother of Cathy McMillen of Rexdale, Bob and Donna Wattam of Wingham, Shirley and Paul Nickel of Atwood, Carol and Bruce Haselgrove of Stratford, Ivan and Maria Wattam of Wingham, Ron and Carol Wattam of Edmonton, Barbara and Robin Hewitt of Goderich, Richard and Beth Wattam of Vanastra, and Harold and Darlene Wattam of Moorefield. Also survived by three daughters, step-grandfather Peter Laird of Wingham, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great niece. Predeceased by his mother Doreen (Gazey) Wattam, grandparents Walter and Lottie Wattam, Harry and Edith Gazey and Christine Laird and niece Michele Wattam. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, from 12:30 pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 pm. Reverend Doug Watson officiating. Interment in Shelburne Cemetery, Shelburne, ON. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
