Obituary of Rodger Somers

At London Health Sciences Centre on Friday, October 03, 2014, Douglas Rodger Somers of R.R. # 2, Blyth, age 64 years. Beloved husband of Dianne (Mulrooney) Somers. Loving father of Katrina Somers of Waterloo and Rob and Rachael Somers and his granddaughter Hannah of Cambridge. Dear son of George and Fannie Somers of Brussels. Brother of Ross and Judy Somers, Rick and Debbie Somers, Randy and Tammy Somers and Janice and Bill Smith. Rodger was a member of The Royal Canadian Navy from 1968 until 1975. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Monday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Pastor Jim Carne officiating. Interment in Brussels Cemetery, Morris Township. Memorial donations to the Gideon Bible Plan would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
