Obituary of Higgins Sarah Verne

At Gilbert Hall, Wingham on Saturday, May 10, 2014, Verna Higgins of Wingham, age 94 years. The former Verna Casemore beloved wife of the late Alvin Higgins who predeceased her in 2005. Dear mother of Marilyn and David Penner of Listowel and Carol and Richard Lassaline of Gorrie. Loving grandmother of Rob, Tim, Debra, Chris and Kyle. Lovingly remembered by eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Annie (Finnen) Casemore, sister Olive Stanwick and brothers Harry, Herman and Lloyd "Casey" Casemore. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday from 2:00 until time of the funeral service at 3:00 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society or St.Paul's-Trinity Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
